I appreciate the feedback but still have further queries.

I am on a work permit in Ireland with a visa and a public services card.

My Ireland issued public services card does not have my dob however.

Is there any alternative?

Pelumi If the Visa doesn't have DOB then you could try a passport or ID from wherever you're a citizen. Sorry we don't have an easy alternative for now. Hopefully some variant of driving license, ID, or passport from Ireland/home country has DOB 🤞.
